Natural Heritage

With over 250 acres of open space in our care, including wetlands, woodland, coastline and islands, the Bermuda National Trust plays a very significant role as a steward of Bermuda’s natural heritage. We are second only to the Bermuda Government in the acreage of open space we hold. This land is preserved in perpetuity for the benefit of the entire Bermuda community – for everyone, forever – and for the conservation of Bermuda’s unique biodiversity.

The Trust is also a strong advocate for the conservation of Bermuda’s natural heritage and we provide recommendations and actions on sensitive environmental issues.
